Adoption Options has proudly provided support to adoptive parents and children since 1929. Our nonprofit agency has a long history of serving individuals, couples, and families of all faiths, backgrounds, and identities – including LGBTQ+ couples, unmarried partners, single applicants, and traditional family structures.

Our small, experienced team helps take the complexities out of the adoption process. We provide clear, compassionate guidance tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re just starting to explore adoption or ready to move forward. We offer:
- Pre- and Post Adoption support: Information, resources, and support before, during, and after adoption.
- Licensed Home studies: For domestic or international adoption.
- Coordination with adoption professionals: We work closely other placement agencies, facilitators, and adoption attorneys.
- Post placement visits and reporting: Ensuring continued support and compliance throughout your adoption journey.

Adoption Coordinator
Lauren has been with JCS since May 2024, overseeing agency licensure, managing adoptive families in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, coordinating all components of the home study process, and writing home studies. Before joining JCS, Lauren worked with DCYF-involved families, providing clinical and case management services, facilitating supervised visitation, and supporting relationships between foster and biological parents when adoption became an option.
