Kosher Meals on Wheels

The Kosher Meals on Wheels program from Jewish Collaborative Services delivers nutritious kosher meals to homebound seniors and disabled individuals. Part of our kosher nutrition program, Kosher Meals on Wheels provides an essential safety net for hundreds of community members who might otherwise face malnutrition.

Kosher Nutrition Brought to Your Door

We serve members of the Jewish community who are homebound and age 60 or over or disabled. Deliveries are made in Providence, Pawtucket, Cranston, and Warwick.

Meals are delivered Monday through Friday. A $3 donation per meal to help defray costs is requested and greatly appreciated. To request kosher meal delivery, please call Neal Drobnis at (401) 421-4111 x 107

For those who are able to travel, JCS also operates Kosher Senior Café’s in Providence and Cranston, with nutritious meals and a variety of social activities.

One Hour a Month Can Help the Homebound

If you have a car and can spare one hour a week—or even just one hour a month—please consider volunteering with the JCS KosherMeals on Wheels program. Volunteers are vital for helping homebound seniors and disabled members of the Jewish community remain comfortably in their homes.

Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver prepared kosher meals to those who are unable to leave their homes to get the nutrition they need. We are always looking for drivers for the Providence/Pawtucket area and the Warwick/Cranston area. Meals are delivered on weekdays between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please call (401) 421-4111 x 107 or email neal@jcsri.org. You can also support the Kosher Meals on Wheels program by designating “Kosher Nutrition” when you make a donation to JCS.
