Staff Leaders
Jewish Collaborative Services employs highly trained and credentialed professionals. Our staff includes licensed marriage and family therapists, masters of social work, licensed social workers, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants and assisted living administrators. In addition to their qualifications, they bring commitment and compassion in caring for clients and their families.
Our leadership team consists of dedicated professionals with many years of experience working to ease the burden of those facing hardship or transition in their housing, health, family or social situations.

Pamela Morris, MSW
President and CEO
Pam is responsible for all business, finance and personnel operations for Jewish Collaborative Services. In that role, she oversees the agency and its professional staff in delivering the highest quality services to the community and all stakeholders. She also directs the planning process for the agency’s future development and growth. Prior to taking on leadership of JCS, Pamela served in increasingly high-level roles in the senior living field in NY, CT, and RI for more than 20 years. Pam holds a Masters of Social Work degree from Rhode Island College and a Post Graduate Certificate in Long Term Care Administration from Iona College in NY.

Renee St. John, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Renee she is responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction of the organization’s business, finance and personnel operations. Within finance, she guides the staff, finance committee, and board of directors on all financial matters, including external audit functions, banking, investments, tax reporting and human resources. Renee joined the team in 2019 with over 20 years of experience as a CPA. Renee has extensive knowledge in the nonprofit arena, with a strong record of building solid Not-for-profit accounting policies, and reporting procedures with compliance to appropriate GAAP standards. Renee received her Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bryant University. She has also served on multiple boards and committees, while currently serving on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for the Rhode Island Community Foodbank.

Patricia Burns Harwood, LICSW
Chief of Programs
Patty oversees the coordination, integration, and delivery of all programs and services at JCS. She also works to promote collaborative relationships between program areas and to ensure that services consistently meet or exceed the expectations of clients, family members, funders, partners and other stakeholders. With credentials in RI and MA, Patty has been helping clients as a licensed independent clinical social worker for more than 25 years. Patty received her BA in psychology from Boston College. She earned a Master of Social Work from Rhode Island College School of Social Work, with a concentration in health, aging, and disability. Patty started with Jewish Family Service of RI in 1999, taking on increasing responsibility to become Director of Older Adult Resources before becoming Chief of Programs at JCS. Patty brings a combination of professionalism, skill, knowledge, and good humor to her work.

Casey Gilfillan Amaral, MBA
Human Resources Senior Director
Casey is a seasoned HR professional known for her strategic leadership and innovative approach to human resources. With over 20 years of experience, including a decade in the nonprofit sector, she has a proven track record of driving organizational success through people-centric strategies and transformative HR solutions. Casey earned her Master’s in HR Management and MBA from the University of Phoenix while advancing her career. She has built a strong foundation in human resources management, business operations, and organizational behavior. Her expertise spans diverse industries, where she has excelled in talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development. Recognized for her hands-on approach and dedication to fostering positive workplace cultures, Casey creates environments where employees thrive. Her leadership is defined by empathy, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.

Jessica Murphy Hoard, MS
Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications
Jessica develops and implements strategies to advance the agency’s mission, enhance brand recognition, and engage target audiences. She oversees marketing efforts across all programs and communities, ensuring cohesive messaging and outreach that effectively supports the agency’s services and impact. Her work spans multi-channel campaigns, media relations, and digital strategy, fostering connections with staff, donors, volunteers and clients. Before joining the team in 2016, Jessica earned a Bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College and a Master’s degree from Merrimack College. With a passion for community engagement, she has played a key role in expanding the agency’s marketing efforts and strengthening its brand presence.

Helayne Goldstein-Ramirez
Executive Director of Tamarisk Senior Living
Helayne has over 20 years of leadership experience in senior living and community services, she is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults through compassionate care and innovative programming. Helayne holds multiple professional credentials, including licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator, Assisted Living Residence Administrator, and Independent Clinical Social Worker. She is also a Nationally Certified Dementia Practitioner, bringing specialized expertise in memory care and aging services. Her leadership is defined by a deep understanding of resident needs and a strategic vision for the future of senior living.

Rachael Adams
Director of Shalom Apartments
