Solutions for Those in Need

Many of the people we serve face serious financial or other hardships.

17% of all Rhode Islanders are seniors; of those, 31% live alone.

More than 9% of state residents under age 65 live with disabilities.

13% of Rhode Islanders live in poverty; 1 in 6 face hunger every day.

JCS Is There to Help

With support from donors and funders, we provide vital housing and social services for anyone in need. Through our programs, every year:

families and individuals of all religions receive essential services

nutritious meals are provided to the hungry and homebound

visits are made to isolated seniors to bring hope and cheer

individuals, couples and families get help through counseling

“From the moment my Dad entered the [Celebrations Adult Day Services] program, we could feel the warmth of the staff and clients. He loved attending each day and felt like he had a purpose in life.”
