Kosher Food Pantry

The Full Plate Kosher Food Pantry helps eliminate the strain on community members who need help putting kosher food on the table. Operated by JCS, the Kosher Food Pantry provides kosher food and other essentials to hundreds of individuals and families in greater RI.

Fill Your Plate with Kosher Food

The food pantry distributes kosher chicken, produce, and a wide range of nonperishable foods, along with personal care items. If you or someone you know needs help getting kosher food, The Full Plate Kosher Food Pantry is there to help.

Community members can pick up food at the Kosher Food Pantry, which is located at the Jewish Collaborative Services headquarters in Providence. We also deliver to those who are homebound. Food deliveries are made throughout nearby communities, thanks to our volunteers.

Individuals and families of all ages may receive food from the Kosher Food Pantry twice a month. The pantry is open Thursdays and Fridays by appointment; deliveries are made on Tuesdays. To learn more, contact us at (401) 331-1244.

Volunteer at the Pantry

The Kosher Food Pantry needs volunteers for pick up, distribution, and packaging of food. Volunteers may:

  • Work in the pantry
  • Shop for food to stock the pantry
  • Deliver food to the homebound

If you are interested in volunteering, please call us at (401) 331-1244.

“We deliver food to this household on a regular basis. Each delivery is met with a wide smile, a strong handshake, and then tears. Tears that say, ‘I am so sad that we are in a position where we need to accept food. I am so glad that the community has not forgotten about us.’ ”
