The Legacy Society

The Legacy Society is made up of donors who have named Jewish Collaborative Services as a beneficiary in their estate plan or established an endowment fund with the agency. By joining the Legacy Society, you can ensure that our work in the community continues to stay strong for generations to come.

Planning for the Future

Legacy giving can take several forms. A planned gift enables you to receive benefits during your lifetime and then bequest the remaining funds to JCS. You can also simply leave money or assets to JCS as a beneficiary.

Creating an endowment fund at JCS is another legacy option. An endowment is a permanent fund that uses earnings each year to advance the general mission of the agency or of a specific program designated by the donor. The endowment fund stays intact while parts of its earnings are utilized each year to support vital services.

Under the guidance of your professional estate planner, you can choose the legacy vehicle that will work best for you. We are happy to help you explore options, including those that will directly benefit you and your heirs while providing lasting support for seniors, families, and others in need.

Creating a Legacy of Hope

Legacy gifts provide the foundation for continued services for decades to come. For more information about endowments and planned giving, contact Sara Ades Goodwin, Chief Development Officer, at (401) 331-1244 or sara@jfsri.org.

KEEP US IN THE LOOP!

If you have chosen to leave JCS a legacy gift, please make sure we know. We would like to be able to thank you for your generosity and vision in caring for the wellbeing of future generations.

You will also be invited to join JCS’s Legacy Society, which honors those who have made a planned gift to JCS.
