Shalom offers two affordable housing communities: Shalom Apartments for older adults and adults needing mobility support and Shalom II Apartments for older adults. Eligibility guidelines for each residence include specific age and annual income requirements.

Shalom Apartments are funded under the HUD Section 202 program.

Shalom Apartments

for Older Adults and Adults in need of Mobility Support

Shalom Apartments offers self-reliant older adults and adults in need of mobility support, modern residence in a safe, supportive environment, with live-in staff. This five-story residence is designed to provide comfort and ease of living for lower to moderate level income residents.

Shalom Apartments offers 95 one-bedroom and 5 two-bedroom apartment homes. All apartments have fully equipped kitchens, wall-to-wall carpeting, emergency call systems and air-conditioner sleeves. The building houses elevators, community spaces, security cameras and laundry facilities on four floors.

Shalom Apartments is funded under HUD Section 202. Residents must be aged 62 or older to qualify as seniors; those in need of mobility support must be 18 or older. Resident eligibility and rents are based on annual income. Qualifying residents pay 30% of their income for rent.

Shalom II Apartments

for Older Adults

Shalom II Apartments offers affordable housing for older adults in a secure and welcoming environment. The four-story residence offers 53 one-bedroom apartment homes designed for individual comfort within a community setting.

Shalom II offers security cameras, elevators, laundromats and community spaces. Apartments have fully equipped kitchens, wall-to-wall carpeting, emergency call systems and air conditioner sleeves. All residents have easy access to our community amenities.

Shalom II is funded under the HUD 202 program. Persons aged 62 and older are eligible to live at Shalom II. Resident eligibility and rents are based on annual income. Qualifying residents pay 30% of their income for rent.
